M-Jay's new Audeon MCTX-16 unveiled

M-Jay Electronics, manufacturer of the Audeon wireless fitness-entertainment system, have launched the new MCTX-16.

A fully modular 16 channel transmitter housed in a standard 19in 3U card frame, it's designed for larger installations where more than eight audio sources are required.

All the features of the original eight channel MCTX - to be known as the MCTX-8 - are retained, including the emergency message, microphone priority inputs and remote control of the gym audio system. The new transmitter also uses the same radio frequencies so it is fully compatible with all existing receivers and transmitters.

By redesigning the input module PCB, Audeon engineers have produced a compact unit with two audio channels on the same card which allows all 16 channels to be housed in the same case as the original MCTX-8 without compromising the audio quality.

leisure-kit.net has learned that the new transmitter will be demonstrated at this year's Leisure Industry Week show in September by AB Audio Visual on stand 5171.

All Audeon products are made in the UK and fully comply with all the applicable EU directives for wireless audio, low voltage, EMC, RoSH and WEEE.
